About this Role:
The role of the Recovery Analyst in the Third Party Liability and Recovery Division’s General Collections Branch, Overpayments (OP) team is to recover funds overpaid by Medi-Cal, California’s Medicaid Program. Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, the Recovery Analyst is responsible for analyzing and processing recovery cases, as well as responding to various stakeholders, including Medi-Cal providers and beneficiaries.You will find additional information about the job in the .

This position offers a hybrid work schedule as outlined in the telework information section below; the amount of telework is based on the operational business needs. Beginning July 1, 2025, pursuant to Executive Order N-22-25 issued March 3, 2025, and California Department of Human Resources (CalHR) Statewide Guidance issued March 13, 2025, DHCS team members generally will be required to report in-person a minimum of four days per week unless exempted/excepted.Our campus-style office is located in West Sacramento, offers free parking, and is near the freeway, a shopping center, and several dining options.

The DHCS standard for hybrid work is generally a minimum of four days per week in person and up to one teleworking day per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department’s operational business needs and subject to change consistent with DHCS’ Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 – 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.
Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee’s designated office and residence, subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
