Source One is a consulting services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a consultant to our direct client, a global medical device company in Johns Creek, GA.
Title: QC Analytical Chemist I / Incoming Inspection (Contractor)
Pay Rate: $25.36/hr (W-2)
The contract duration is initially 24 months
Work Schedule: Two-week rotating schedule of 12-hour shifts
Week 1: Monday, Thursday and Friday
Week 2: Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
Description: Responsible for in-process and final product quality analyses/inspection in compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. Interprets and evaluates the analyses in terms of accuracy and precision compared against established specifications. Identifies on-going quality issues, prevents potential production issues, and makes suggestions for improvement. Uses various measuring devices, testing equipment, predetermined methods, operations, setups and prescribed specifications to accept or reject products. May work from blueprints, diagrams, dial indicators, preset micrometers, scales, fixtures, customer specifications, drawing or inspection instructions and checklists.
As an QC Analytical Chemist I / Incoming Inspection, you will be responsible for conducting quality control testing of materials and production samples as required to support contact lens production. You will be trusted to perform assigned tasks according to approved SOP’s, methods, and procedures with adherence to cGMP, FDA, and corporate quality policies and regulations at this manufacturing facility.
