Purchasing Clerk 1

Pay Range: $19.86-$24.57

JOB SUMMARY:

• Assist the Purchasing Supervisor in management of purchase orders and quote requests facility wide
• Reconcile packing slips and vendor invoices for accuracy to prepare for the Purchasing Supervisor approval
• Communicate with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, issues, backorders, etc.
• Maintain medical supply charge codes and costs while working with the Business Office
• Assist with weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory management
• Organize and maintain the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) database facility wide
• Record and track supply recalls, expirations, and PAR levels
• Assist the Purchasing Supervisor in maintaining records for the Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement Committee (QAPI)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2+ years of purchasing and/or healthcare related experience
