Job Description: Production Artist / Prepress Operator

Fine Line Graphics is searching for a dynamic person to fill the position of Production Artist to work at our Lenexa, Kansas Facility.

Essential Job Functions

• Build job mechanicals per job specs in Adobe Illustrator. Create files for Flexographic Printing.
• Interpret job information as directed by the Customer Service Dept.
• Troubleshoot problems and resolve production challenges.
• Organize digital files in a consistent manner on the file server.
• Check, verify, and sight proof completed work for errors to ensure compliance  with job specifications.
• Detail oriented, highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects with  minimal supervision.

Education / Experience / Training

• 2+ years’ experience in production art or related field preferred. However, we will train the ideal candidate.
• Proficiency in current software applications: Adobe Illustrator / Adobe Photoshop.
• Other Programs include ESKO and Prinergy.
• Knowledge of standard printing procedures, software specifically for the flexographic environment a plus.

Fine Line Graphics will train the ideal candidate.
