Job Description

LevelUp Consulting is a civil engineering, planning, and landscape architecture consulting firm specializing in the civil engineering land development industry. We are seeking a mid to senior level landscape architect . The applicant will lead or assist in the design, development and support of master planned communities, commercial projects, and multifamily development. This position will support our landscape architecture and planning departments by providing site planning, landscape, hardscape and irrigation design, and technical and graphic production.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead and/or assist in conceptual designs, layouts, detailing, cost estimating, and construction documents
  • Create visual graphics and renderings for plan views and illustrative purposes, utilizing both computer-generated and hand-drawn techniques
  • Capable of all aspects of design and production for code minimum landscape plans and irrigation plans, hardscape planning and design, community theming, and enhanced landscape plans
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients, city, and county jurisdictions
  • Demonstrate knowledge of local plant materials, availability, and costs
  • Have experience in, or be interested in growing into a company leader and expanding our landscape design practice in the local and surrounding markets with the ability to build a team and acquire new work

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelors or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture from a LAAB accredited program.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in land development
  • Experience in a collaborative studio environment with the ability to maintain project direction including independent design decisions and construction plan documentation.
  • Ability to work outside and perform site inspections at active and potential construction sites.
  • Proficiency with LandFX, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in three-dimensional design imagery, hand drawn illustrations and graphic design
