Glice is the leading supplier of synthetic skating rinks which the company both sells and rents. Our products are made up of dozens of components that need to be inventories, packed and shipped to customers all over North America. We are seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Manager that will take charge of preparing our shipments and ensuring their timely delivery to our customers and returns in the case of our rink rentals.
This role will also be responsible for obtaining competitive shipping quotes and working with a variety of suppliers, including our parent company in Europe, to ensure that our inventory levels are sufficient to meet order demand. You’ll be working closely with our CEO and sales team to ensure smooth and efficient order processing that demonstrates a high professional standard that our customers value. You’ll also be collaborating with a top-notch warehouse team who will be doing the picking and packing, crating and loading, but we expect this role will also be active lending a hand to prepare orders. Be in good physical condition.
Our warehouse is located near the intersection of Havana and East 56 th Avenue northeast of downtown Denver in-between the Central Park and Montbello neighborhoods. The ideal candidate will live within 30 minutes of the warehouse so they can easily transition to their home location and work.
The right person lands this position and demonstrates these skills and abilities will have room to grow within the company in a leadership role, with increases in compensation commence with performance and on time, accurate delivery of rinks to Glice customers.

Warehouse Tasks
1. Maintain accurate inventory by SKU, quantity, warehouse location
2. Track minimum quantities and initiate order to maintain stock levels
3. Keep warehouse orderly, clean (as possible) and free of hazards
4. Quality conscious about product state (clean/dirty, works/broken)
5. Oversees pick and packing of orders, ensures secure packing of goods
6. Capable of repairing/solving problems with orders on the fly
7. Periodically meets with customers at warehouse, sets-up demo rinks
Logistics Tasks
1. Be on top of orders coming inbound, always know their status and ship dates
2. Obtain bids from carriers to obtain best balance of cost/delivery time
3. Ensure BOLs and shipping docs are complete, accurate and sent out
4. Follow shipments to and from customers to make sure they arrive OK
5. Handle insurance claims for any damaged items, ensure process completes
6. Work calmly with customers to ensure their satisfaction working with Glice
7. Be diligent about inbound rentals for damage, missing parts, dirt.
Work Hours
· Typical starts at 8am, ending at 4pm in warehouse – varies with order activity
· Work from home possible if within 30 minutes of warehouse location
· Assume time in the warehouse is about 65%, 35% is administrative activity
· Requires your own computer and network at home – laptop preferable
· This is a 1099 Contractor status – monthly base pay arrangement.

· Direct report to Glice Inc. CEO
· Collaborate with Glice sales team on shipping arrangements
