Senior Environmental Professional (Engineer or Scientist)
Costa Mesa, CA | Full-Time | Hybrid or Remote Eligible
Salary Range: $95,000 - $105,000 annually (based on experience)

Senior Environmental Engineer or Senior Environmental Scientist to support a growing portfolio of remediation and stormwater projects across Southern California.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists, and technical specialists on high-impact projects that improve environmental quality, public health, and infrastructure resilience.
What You'll Do
Depending on your background and focus area, your responsibilities may include:
For Environmental Engineers:
+ Lead field programs, remedial system design, and O&M activities
+ Prepare feasibility studies, cost estimates, and permit applications
+ Analyze environmental data and prepare technical reports
+ Mentor junior staff and support project delivery across remediation sites
For Environmental Scientists:
+ Manage stormwater compliance programs (construction, post-construction, industrial, MS4)
+ Conduct site inspections, sampling, and BMP evaluations
+ Interpret regulatory requirements and support permitting efforts
+ Lead field programs and contribute to environmental protection strategies
✅ What You Bring
+ Bachelor's degree
+ in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
+ 6+ years of relevant experience in environmental consulting
+ Strong technical writing and communication skills
+ Working knowledge of California environmental regulations and permitting
+ For engineers: PE license in CA (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
+ For scientists: QSP/QSD certification (or ability to obtain immediately); additional certifications like CPESC, CPSWQ, or CESSWI are a plus
+ OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $180000.00/hr.
