Interim Workday Compensation Manager - 6-Month Contract - Hybrid - Seattle, WA

Hale International is working with a Seattle-based client to find an Interim Compensation Manager to cover a 6-month maternity leave. The compensation program is well-established, and the team is in good shape. They’re looking for someone to step in, lead the team, and keep things moving during a busy period.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run compensation cycles, including merit and promotion reviews.
• Lead a team of three (1 Principal + 2 Analysts) and support their day-to-day work.
• Collaborate with HR partners and ensure comp practices stay aligned across the business.
• Support ongoing projects, including a compensation initiative in EMEA.
• Apply knowledge of pay equity; experience with Syndio is a bonus.
• Use Workday to manage comp processes and support any system needs.

What They’re Looking For:

• Experience running compensation cycles and managing a team.
• Strong understanding of pay equity and how to apply it.
• Familiar with Workday; Syndio experience is helpful.
• Comfortable working with HR teams and across functions.
• Available to work on-site 3 days a week in Seattle.
